Last night showed me again that the heels are far and away the number 1 team in the nation. MSU played a pretty good game and was able to keep it close for a while, but Carolina was too deep and talented. To beat them by 35 and have 93 points with more than 3 minutes to go says something. Keep in mind they are missing their best defensive player in Ginyard.
The one key that has lacked this team for 3 years now is defense. They seem to have caught on to what Roy W has been preaching and are playing some really good team D.
Davis continues to impress me and drew seems to have the calmness of a junior.
I will say this though I've not seen too much of Uconn this year to know how they look, but they have size and would be the one team right away to challenge the heels. Duke doesnt scare me, because coach K only recruits 3 point shooters and as always, they have a bad game in the tourny and no big man to rebound or play d and of course they lose.
Aside from Uconn, have not been able to watch a whole lot of the top 10, but if things continue to play out, should be cutting down the nets again baby.

Britney Spears' former husband Jason Alexander is behind bars at Los Angeles County Twin Towers jail after being arrested for DUI in 2006.
As part of his rehab, Brit's 55-hour husband was ordered to complete an alcohol education program including visiting the county morgue.
But after skipping his first two appointments, a judge sent him right back to jail to serve out a ten-day prison sentence. He is scheduled for release on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
Tuesday, I started off bad and had a 151 game. I realized that I was not hitting the line hard and that I was not being aggressive in my delivery.
So I made the adjustment to be more aggressive. The result?
Game 2: 8 strikes in a row followed by a high ball in frame 9 that left the 4 pin. I covered it and went Strike-Spare in 10th frame for a 269.
Game 3: 9 strikes in a row followed by another high ball and left a 6-10 which I covered. I was a bit pissed and threw a half assed ball that left a 3-6-10 for a 275 game.
Two opportunties at a 300 in back to back games. Back to back 300's has been done only twice in my local association and I could have been the third. If I didn't have that bad first game, who knows, I could have had an 800. Final series:695
Wednesday, I shot decent in games of 224, 247, 225, 193 for a 4-game 890 series. The first 3 games was a series of 697. So I was one open frame away in both series from shooting back to back 700's.
On Tuesday, the shot was awesome. I really didn't have to make any major adjustments other than to just throw more aggressively. I basically shot the same line all 3 games using my Thunderstruck.
But on Wednesday, even though it was oiled the same, it still was different. I had a bit of a time trying to get the ball to hook into the pocket. Even though I was as aggressive as the night before, the ball just didn't hit the pocket hard as it did the night before. I was lucky to come away with the 224, 247, and 225 games. I moved one board to the right to start game 2..it worked for a while, but it broke down again in game 4 and I only had 75 in an open 5th frame. Finally, I brought out the Terminator and moved back to the left and thrw it outside as it had oil on the inside.
I made the run to come back from the 75 in the 5th frame to finish with the 193 game. I should have started with the Terminator in the first place.
But all in all, it was a good week and could have been a great week if I didn't make the mistakes that I did.
I also took over the lead for the average title on the Wednesday league. Before last night, I think I was like 25 pins behind the leader with a 221 average. But the leader had a bad day with a 775 series and with my 890 series, that put me in the lead by slightly over 100 pins with 16 weeks to go in the season. 16 weeks. 64 games. 221 average. Plenty of bowling to do yet, but I still feel good about my chances to win my first ever average title. I just gotta stay consistent and not get into a slump.

Sometimes short blogs take the pressure off those really detailed longer blogs, that must really scare me.. and probably some readers! So let me try a shorty here.
Interesting events over the past few days:
~My ex called me after no contact for 4+ months. Not sure why. Or if I'll call him back. Yet, my new beau is not calling me back. ? I tell ya! More trouble than they're worth!
~My aunt is slowly slowly getting better and more coherent. We know that she recognizes us now, but she seems to go in and out of understanding things we say to her. One good sign though, her sense of humor is back! A key ingredient to getting better!
~Went for a visit to one of my favorite friend's restaurant.. she kicked me out before my usual leaving time. ha.
~I'm reading a great book "Mother Warriors" by Jennifer McCartthy about her son's battle with autism and his eventual CURE.
~I repaired yet another squirrel-made hole in my roofline. Better step up my efforts on the prevention front! I have yet to blog the entire Squirrel Saga. It will come.
~My cat's all up in my face. But, she's so cute that I barely care.
~Had a friend come to town and stay overnight on my couch. Why is it that I can only stand about an hour of this guy!? Cuz, he's SOoooo difficult! (Jen, you know!)
~I missed half of Survivor tonight because I took a really soothing and much-needed bath. Sometimes water is just what you need.
~Now, I'm off to conquer of one of these projects staring me in the face!

Yo "WWE Fans" you guys got no respect to the real people of this industry, the people I am talking about are the fans during the time of the Attitude Era and I bet when I say that word you "fans" probably say what the heck is that?Well the attitude era was a time in professional wrestling when it was exciting and original and now its all bland. The fans have been replaced with little kids and teenage girls who all scream when the "almighty John Cena" comes to the ring well your champion John Cena ain't nothin, and that guy can barely wrestle always remember that.

Well here is the newest edition to my family. I am sorry I haven't logged on in a very long while here is a bit of an update on what has been going on. I am now single and have a beautiful daughter named Tarryn. She was born 11/27/07 and has been the light of my life. My Ex (Tony) and I split up in August and now he is due to be married to the chick that he cheated on me with. I am now due to have another child (his) on 04/24/09 and I found out today that it is a boy. I am in Florida with my mother and step father living with them temporarily. My life is great and I look forward to my new addition.
And that girl is my bestfriend. I'm doing this blog because I know she is suicidal and I know there are people who care about her she just hurts 2 much 2 realize it.

I know your hurting bad baby, But you can pull threw you always have and I grantee you. You always will.
Yes I'm willing,But am I to be consigned to a life where I shall be stupid ,boring, and glum, like some richeous people I see ? I know I must get along without liqour, but how can I? Have you a sufficent substitute?
Yes there is a substitute and it is vastly more than that. It is a fellowship in Alcoholics Anonomous. There you will find release from care, boredom and worry. Your imagination will be fired. Life will mean something at last. The most satisfactory years of your life lay ahead. Thus we find the fellowship and so will you.
(ps) I have no Idea what Quintisential means~ Thanks for letting me share GG

Just gearing up for the busy holiday season. Hoping to take the family back home for the holidays. It has been a rough year, but we are managing to survive pretty good.
I've been investigating Palm Springs as a warm weather destination. WoW! There are so many activities there. Being in a desert environment, there are numerous unique desert activities too.
There are beautiful condo resort properties, but the boutique hotel that am focusing on is the Desert Riviera Hotel. Family operated and recently renovated, enjoy happy citrus colors in your room and network with other guests there -- they only have a limited amount of rooms --17? for this boutique hotel.
A definite must see is: the Palm Springs Follies -- where all performers range in age from 55 to 85 years old & they are simply amazing.http://www.psfollies.com/

Stocking Stuffers are great: sweet little treats that are fun to get and even more fun to buy! I love searching for just the right little present that will delight the recipient and still fit in the stocking. Some items are traditions, like the chocolate orange my husband always gets. Other things are more challenging such as just the right pair of gloves for Ben's fishing trips or making the perfect cards for my sister.
My store has many ideas for stocking stuffers that will delight anyone!
Spray 9 by 13-inch foil pan with cooking spray; set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat with an electric mixer on low speed, cake mix, butter, egg, and food coloring until combined. Press cake mixture into prepared pan; set aside. In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar on medium speed until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat to combine. Spread cream cheese mixture over cake layer.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray 9 by13-inch baking pan lightly with cooking spray; set aside. Prepare bars as directed. Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until bars barely start to pull away from sides. Cool completely before cutting.
The upcoming release of Street Fighter 4 is taking a step back, showing it's SF2 roots as it "borrows" many of the old characters and game play style. I've had the chance to play this game at the arcade and it's going to be a great addition to the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC 2009 line up.
Street Fighter 4 is definitely going to have it's fair share of stunning imagry with the high definition enhancement. Leave it to those Japanese designers to come up with mind-blowing graphics. The internet is already littered with Street Fighter 4 Wallpaper so keep your desktop satisfied and stock up.
The addition of the new bosses, plus the revamped moves, will leave plenty of room for new cheats and Street Fighter 4 Walkthroughs to help you through the new levels. The new fight moves (focused attacks and ultra combos), online play, and graphics, will make SF4 the best Street Fighter release ever. If there are still questions on your plate, hit up Capcom for their Street Fighter 4 FAQs.
